The IP211 is a single-chip, which combines one embedded 32-bit CPU, Ethernet 10/100M MAC, a SDRAM controller, a serial flash controller, GPIOs, etc. These features make IP211 work seamlessly with Ethernet switch chips or media converter chips, etc, to construct management devices for users.
 

The capacity of the external SDRAM that used for IP211 is from 64 Mbits to 512 Mbits and its data width is 16bit. The serial flash Controller of IP211 allows two SPI Flash devices to operate with it. The capacity of each Flash memory is up to 16MB. SPI is one kind of popular interface to access some passive chips, such as audio chips and EEPROM, etc. IP211 also supported.
